Raylan is searching for his home...ADOPTED!

A couple weeks ago we brought in a new foster, Raylan.  Affectionately known to us as "Kitty Ray", he is now back in the shelter in hopes of finding his human(s) to massage for the rest of his life!  One of the first characteristics we noticed about this guy (aside from the immediate connection he had to us), was that he LOVES to knead and massage!  This video shows how much he enjoys it.  Why pay for expensive monthly massages when you can pay a one-time adoption fee and have an in-home massage therapist for the rest of your life?!  :)  He is a super-social guy, enjoying the company of other cats and unphased by the resident dog.  He enjoys being held for small periods of time and gladly accepts kisses!

And just to give an idea of how affectionate and loving this boy is, check out his modeling photos below.  As you'll see, Ray is super easy-going, lovable and carefree.  At just three years old, he's got lots of years of love to give.  He is one of those cats who doesn't even have a warm-up phase with humans--he's an instant lover!

All this social guy wants is to be loved--by anyone!

Feisty and Binks -- BOTH ADOPTED!

UPDATE: Both Feisty (now Dexter) and Binks have been adopted as of 15 January 2014.  So happy that both of my boys are going to wonderful homes!

Feisty and Binks have come to us as fosters in December.  Feisty is the black and white kitty, and is around one year.  Talk about a barrel of fun!  We have been calling him "Feisty Fun", because that's what this guy is all about!  To him, everything is interesting and an adventure.  We've had so much fun watching this guy play.  He is submissive, and has done VERY well with our other cats, including our dogs.  He will do well in a home with either.  He has superb housekeeping (e.g., litterbox) skills.  He is also a retriever. I have a video of him retrieving (posted below)!  He has the largest purring motor, and is just an all-around happy guy.  He's a model (feline) citizen!

Binks is Feisty's former roommate.  He is a beautiful, medium-haired orange and white guy, estimated at around 3 years.  He is a little more relaxed than Feisty, and quite the snuggler.  He has fallen asleep on our chests multiple times.  Binks likes a nice, cozy human bed to lay on, and I'd say that's his only "want" in life.  He's also litterbox-perfect.  Binks is not quite as vocal as Feisty, but he'll let you know if his food bowl is empty!  They complement each other perfectly.  He also does well with our other cats and dogs.  I can't imagine why anyone would surrender these two.  But even given their current homeless status, they sure don't seem to hold grudges.  Both of these guys know their names and get along well with our other animals.

I've tried to post a few pictures of these boys, but pictures don't seem to do them justice.  I would certainly love to see these guys in a home of their own for Christmas.  And given that they are adults, you always know the personality that you're getting.  They are available for adoption at Humane Society for Hamilton County.

Feisty's superb retrieving skills are displayed in the video above!

Momma and one kitten still available! ADOPTED!

Rina and one of her kittens, Bonnie Dixon (yes, that's her given name) are both still available for adoption (as soon as Bonnie hits 2.5 lbs)!  Bonnie Dixon is the last one, and I can't quite understand how....
Maybe you'll even take me and my Momma?

Will you share your chair with me?

I'm an excellent jumper!

I'm the best snuggler!

Waiting patiently for a home....
